About the Institute

Research.
The Research Bureau of the California Resource Management Institute has been established to assist the Board of Directors in identifying and prioritizing projects aimed at developing the most up-to-date information on a wide array of natural resource-related issues.

For information regarding current projects being undertaken by the California Resource Management Institute, please visit the Research Agenda portion of this site.

Information.
One of the most important features of the California Resource Management Institute is to increase public awareness and provide information on issues affecting California’s natural resources, the industries and communities dependent on those resources, and the benefits derived by the public from those resources to government and elected officials, businesses and industries, and the general public.

The Board of Directors is currently in the process of developing a comprehensive Public Information Program in order to provide the best available information developed by projects sponsored by the California Resource Management Institute.

Assistance.
In furtherance of the research and public information objectives of the California Resource Management Institute, the Board of Directors is currently developing a General Assistance Program to provide grants to other non-profit orgranizations that have projects that will increase the amount of information and knowledge on natural resource-related issues.
