Tricolored Blackbird Management Recommendations and 2005 Survey Priorities

The California Resource Management Institute is pleased to be making available the report - Tricolored Blackbird Management Recommendations and 2005 Survey Priorities - prepared by William J. Hamilton III, a Certified Senior Ecologist, who has a long history of studying the tricolored blackbird.

The report was developed to provide a framework for the study and conservation of the tricolored blackbird. Tricolored blackbirds are largely endemic to California, and more than 95 percent of the global population occurs in the state. The report outlines eight specific recommendations that Mr. Hamilton believes should be carried out to aid in the management of the tricolored blackbird.
